It’s ackward but I bet we’ve all been there. Who should pay the check when you go out with a friend? Should we split the total bill or each pay separately? Sometimes it’s really ackward…especially when it’s a guy friend. What do you do?

HOW SILLY. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS OPEN YOUR MOUTH BEFORE ANYTHING IS PURCHASED/ORDERED, AND SAY “WHOSE PAYING? OR ARE WE PAYING INDIVIDUALLY?” MAKE AN ORDER/PURCHASE ONLY AFTER YOU ARE CLEAR ON THE ISSUE.
Tara. If I invite a lady out, I expect to pay. If she wants to go “dutch”, I let her pay her own tab.
