If you really want to meet someone, bars/clubs are a bit of a crapshoot. Try a free dating site like Yahoo!/MSN personals or possibly Craig's List(the latter tends to have more spam). If the net is not your thing, dating through friends is good at times. If things go wrong, you can hurt your relationships amongst your peers.
